Humble Administrator’s Garden

The Humble Administrator's Garden is a UNESCO heritage site and one of the most famous gardens in Suzhou. Located in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, the Garden was built in the 8th year of Emperor Zhengde of the Ming Dynasty, and has a history of more than 500 years. Covering an area of about 78 acres, it is representative of classical Suzhou gardens.

With all the characteristics of a classical Suzhou Garden, The Humble Administrator’s Garden is dominated by water with reflections of the natural landscape consisting of trees, bamboo, flowers and rocks and garden corridors connect the pavilions and paths.
